Day 6

Day 6

Same as day 5

Days one to five

I have a chart on my fridge, I write the time of each Ibuprofen dose. I chart the doses so I don't take Ibuprofen more than every four hours because it can be dangerous to take it too often. At the four hour mark my body is generally "chomping at the bit" for another dose to reduce the rheumatoid pain. Over the last five days my Ibuprofen need has dramatically reduced!

Today is day five of drinking organic carrot juice (store bought) and I have seen a remarkable improvement in my rhuematoid arthritis. Rarely have I found anything that helps the arthritis - I've tried it all.

I've decided to keep a log because I think I may have found something useful. On the internet there are a bunch of people selling  products for rheumatoid arthritis. I've purchased a lot of it, from chlorophyl to nopal cactus and so far I haven't had an improvement.

There are people who claim they have cured themselves however, I haven't found details about how they did it. One woman says "wow I cured my arthritis by juicing" but she doesn't tell what she juiced, how much or what else she did.

If you have improved your rheumatoid arthritis I would love to hear from you! Please leave details so I can duplicate what you have tried.

My doctor has given me 4 more weeks to play around with cures and then I start having monthly IV infusions of an arthritis medication. The medication basically wipes out your immune system and it has been known to allow cancer to form your body. I really do not want to take this treatment.

Day 1

Medication - this is what I normally take, no changes
4 tablets a day 5mg prednisone (I know, I know, I'm trying to get off of this stuff)
Ibuprofen as needed
Multi vitamin
Flax seed oil (have been taking for years) = omega 3
iron - 27 mg - do not take Iron unless your doctor tells you to!
B complex

Diet

For the past three months I have dramatically reduced my milk, cheese and wheat intake because I read that it may contribute to arthritis. The reduction did not help the arthritis.Aside from that, I have not altered my diet. I do have half and half in my coffee and the occasional wheat tortilla. I use rice bread when I can.
I have added aprx. 24 ounces of carrot juice - Columbia George organic carrot juice from Jimbo's market and Costco's organic carrot juice.

Day 2
Day 3
Day 2 and 3 diet and medications were exactly like day one. By day 3 I was able to reduce the ibuprofen. Day 2 and 3 the arthritis was much better but I felt sick. Not sure how to describe my symptoms. I felt really tired and flu like.

Day 4

"Flu like" symptoms have gone.
Reduced prednisone by one tablet! Reduced Ibuprofen need.
I read that the following two vitamins help your body produce prednisone, this has worked for me in the past when reducing prednisone.
Took 2 magnesium aprx 270 mg total
Took 2 L-Argininge aprx 300mg

Diet and medication otherwise the same as day one.

I am not free of the rheumatoid pain, the pain is reduced - very exciting!

Day 5
Diet and medication same

3 prednisone
3magnesium = 400mg total
3L-Arginine =500mg total

Total of two doses of Ibuprofen! This is much lower than my usual!

I am not free of the rheumatoid pain, the pain is reduced.
